They have such a lot of ground to catch up on. And such a lot to ulrnaen. Like pegging downloads to individual handhelds, restricted saves etc. Not only are iOS titles much cheaper, you can use them on multiple devices. Much more friendly for families, ironically.

I don’t think Nintendo will go Sega’s route. Sega only stopped manikg hardware after four failed platforms (Mega CD, 32X, Saturn and Dreamcast).They definitely need to do something though. Hardware cycles alone are too long. If the 3DS has a comparable lifespan to DS, we’ll be playing on iPhone 12 by the time its successor ships.

Wow some Game Gear Games now coming on 3DS that is cool, but it is beettr to unlock from Sonic Adventure DX on the Gamecube (that got Master System & Game Gear Games) so I’m not too worry about it (also for Sonic Mega Collection/Mega Collection Plus/Gems Collection it one of the three ) so it will save money and save some space ^v^ Chao

I bought this for my son back in March ( and am not very cotupmer illerate) with Game and have only just found out about the offer of free games. Do I need to register with anyone for this or just wait for an announcement on this website if so when will the next announcement be? But let me provide a traaolntisn of all of your 3DS posts. I think I can get it down to a single sentence: A console that doesn’t have a single good exclusive game didn’t sell well, so clearly Nintendo is dead, and Apple killed it!’ Hardly. Just I commented, quite clearly: Nintendo isn’t doomed. Writing off the company would be ridiculous, since it is generally pretty smart and the closest thing to Apple in gaming, daring to innovate. However, I do think Nintendo dropped the ball and watched as Apple zoomed past, making more and more excuses. Even now, it seems wedded to 1990s ideals about gaming that are doing it no favours.Also, I have four Nintendo consoles myself, so it’s not like I hate Nintendo. I want the company to succeed, but it’s not going to do this if it keeps being complacent and blind to the bigger shifts in the industry.

It would be a bad move to completely abonadn the 3D feature, Tim. That basically means it’s another handheld entirely. Instead, they’ll simply going to make it less of a focus. Hardware-wise, the remodel should have all the same features and then some. But it’s the software that’ll change once the re-branding is complete. We already know that Nintendo’s willing to have 3DS games which do not use the feature at all and in order for that concept to succeed they’ll be forced to rename the 3DS to something a lot more logical to their ideas. However, if the new name is too different, the market will be even more confused because they’ll start to think it’s a new handheld, not a remodel of the 3DS. They’ll really need to tread ground carefully here.
